Profile shearing involves crossing a punch-blade with one or two die-blades, depending on the cutting quality required. This process is very compact and fast, and can be used for both mass production and one-off applications for fixed sections.
Our units are often integrated into our automatic profile machining lines to enable several operations to be combined to produce a finished part (drilling, tapping, forming, etc.). These machining lines are an ideal replacement for conventional machining centres in certain industrial sectors, optimising production costs in terms of throughput, consumables and maintenance costs. These profile shearing units are most often integrated into profile punching lines.
