Profile shearing involves crossing a punch-blade with one or two die-blades, depending on the cutting quality required. This process is very compact and fast, and can be used for large-scale production runs as well as one-off applications for fixed sections.
Our shears are often integrated into our automatic profile processing lines. They can be used to combine several operations to produce a finished part (drilling, tapping, forming, etc.). These machining lines are an ideal replacement for conventional machining centres in certain industrial sectors. They optimise production costs in terms of output, consumables and maintenance costs. These profile shearing units are most often integrated into profile punching lines.
