Punching without deformation is the most widely used process for manufacturing crutches. It enables holes to be made in tubes, usually made of aluminium, at high speed, thereby optimising manufacturing costs.
We manufacture both stand-alone, manually-loaded tube punching machines and fully-automated, digitally-controlled punching machines, from the input magazine, where bundles of tubes are loaded, to the output magazine, where the punched tubes are retrieved https://attp-constructeur.com/gamme-machines/poinconnage-avec-et-sans-deformation/
We recently carried out a complete overhaul of one of our automatic machines, incorporating a new system of "bigorne" (mouse) which has made the process more reliable (higher output and fewer rejects).
Tube swaging using jaws or dies, as well as crimping, are the other processes used to manufacture crutches.
